Riding Terrain
Mostly off-road and may include:
Course Navigation

Using numbered, instructional route sheets

Read via a
Route Sheet Holder (instructions for making one of these are on this site.)

OR fully guided, using the "corner-man"
system, with a lead rider in front an d sweep rider at the rear
Rider Requirements

Must be licensed
-
Appropriate for all riders who have had off-road riding
experience, with the exception of the complete novice
-
Pillions (passengers) are welcome
Motorcycle Requirements

Bikes must be road legal (registration and WOF)
-
Bikes from big dual-purpose right through to 175 and 200cc bikes are suitable.
Always check if event is suitable
for your bike type and skill level. -
Road legal knobbly tyres are strongly recommended
Britton Challenge Loops (optional)

For riders with more off-road riding experience

Riders who like to ‘up the ante’

Advice given at Riders Briefing about what level of skill is required for each Challenge Section.

Event Format:

Pre-entry with payment is required

Two-day events, option of one-day entry (Sat only)

Multi day fully guided and catered tours,
New Zealand wide. See Calendar. -
Entrants arrive at the event base on the Friday evening or early Sat am

Ride full day Saturday and half day Sunday
